Hey Mama, let’s talk about something so close to my heart: cultivating a growth mindset, even when life feels crazy busy.
I know what it’s like to juggle kids, business, and everything else, but shifting your mindset is key to thriving in all areas. Here are my top tips for fostering that growth mindset when your plate is full:
One of the easiest ways I stay inspired is by swapping TV time for something more uplifting—like a good podcast or audiobook. Instead of zoning out, I turn on personal development content that fuels my growth. Try it next time you’re driving or folding laundry!
A Couple Of Favorites:
When things feel overwhelming, focusing on what’s going right can completely shift your mindset. Every day, I jot down three or so things I’m thankful for—big or small—and it helps me approach the day from a place of abundance. It doesn’t have to be fancy; just keep a simple notebook nearby!
Whenever I face a setback—whether it’s with the boys or in business—I remind myself that every challenge is an opportunity to grow. Instead of thinking, “Why is this happening to me?” I switch to “What can I learn from this?” It’s a game-changer.
The company you keep matters! Make sure you’re surrounding yourself with people who encourage you to stretch and grow. I love connecting with like-minded mamas through our Rainmaker community. Find your tribe, whether online or in person, and let them support you on your journey.
Mama, you are doing amazing! Part of having a growth mindset is giving yourself grace on the hard days. If you didn’t hit all your goals today, that’s OK. Progress isn’t linear. Celebrate the little wins and know that every step forward counts.
Goal-setting is huge for cultivating a growth mindset. I don’t just set goals for my business but for my mental, physical, and emotional health too. Break those big dreams into bite-sized pieces and keep moving forward. You’ve got this!
This one’s hard, but so important. I used to see failure as something to avoid, but now I know it’s just feedback. Each misstep is a chance to adjust and improve. Don’t be afraid to fail—be afraid of not trying.
It’s impossible to grow if you’re running on empty. Take time to fill your own cup, whether that’s through exercise, journaling, or a quiet moment with your favorite tea. When you take care of you, you show up stronger for your family and your business.
Cultivating a growth mindset takes intention, but it’s so worth it. You’re planting seeds that will yield incredible results in your life and your family’s future. Let’s keep growing together, Mama!
Much love, Chelsey 💕
