How To Preventing Inaction and Procrastination: A Guide to Achieving Your Goals

The feeling of being stuck, of being almost paralyzed when it comes to taking action in our lives is something we can all relate to at some point.

Whether it’s a deadline we’ve set for ourselves or one that’s been imposed on us, it can sometimes feel overwhelming to figure out the next steps to complete a project.
But don’t worry, I’ve been there too, and I’ve found a method that works for me. I want to share it with you, in the hopes that it might help you too. So, let’s dive in!

First, grab a piece of paper and write down your goal or the due date for your project. Now, ask yourself two questions:

  1. Who do I need to become to complete this project?

  2. What are the next steps I need to take to make this project happen?

Take your time to answer these questions. Be honest with yourself. This is about your growth and your journey.

Next, write down the steps you need to take, line by line. These could be small baby steps or big leaps, depending on what you need to do to get the project done. Once you’ve done that, ask yourself: what is holding me back from taking action right now?

Brain fog and overwhelm can feel very real. But remember, every big goal, every major project, is accomplished by taking small, actionable steps. These are the steps that you can implement daily to get your project done.

Now, here’s the crucial part. After you’ve written out those baby steps, put them in your calendar. This is a commitment to yourself. You’re setting aside time to work towards your goal.

You can also ask a friend to hold you accountable. Accountability can be a powerful motivator.

Finally, go out there and get that goal done. You’ve planned your steps, you’ve scheduled your time, and you’ve committed to the process. Now it’s time to take action.

Remember, Rainmakers, I believe in you. We’re all on this journey together, building our legacies, creating time freedom, and stepping into generational abundance. Let’s continue to support each other as we work towards our goals. After all, we’re not just surviving – we’re thriving!

Until next time, keep chasing your dreams and building your legacy.
